Our girls have been taking lessons here for almost 3 yrs now. We were a little hesitant at first because 2 of them have special needs and they get upset or distracted very easily. I must say it was the BEST decision we have ever made! It has increased their self-confidence, social skills, balance, and self- control. The instructors are extremely patient and actually care about their students. They provide a fun and healthy learning atmosphere for the students and parents!!

My oldest son has been going almost as long as the dojo has been open which is about 5 years now and my youngest just started 6 months ago. Affordable and a great place to learn Japanese style karate, jujitsu (self-defense), ninjitsu, swords, bow staff, Nunchucks, light saber, and discipline. Great staff and the students really learn a lot.

My children started with JMAA in November 2024, and it has been an exciting journey watching their skills, confidence, focus, and self-discipline grow. I love that they’re learning karate, jujitsu, and practical self-defense—all in one place. Highly recommend!

My son has been attending for almost a year and the growth I've seen in him has been incredible. Not only has he gained a significant boost in confidence, but he's also developed a strong sense of self-discipline. The senseis at this school are patient, understanding, and really know how to work with kids. They make sure each child feels supported as they learn new skills, and they manage to create a positive, encouraging environment where kids are motivated to do their best.

Our girls have grown so much with this martial arts program- their confidence level has increased tremendously and I know they will be able to defend themselves if they are ever in a dangerous situation. Sensei Jerry teaches them real life scenarios and offers them the discipline they need to progress in their practice. We have tried a few other martial arts programs in the area and none of them even come close to what the kids in this program learn.

I started training at the dojo January 2024, the amount of discipline and peace it's given me as an adult has completely changed the dynamics of my home. My kids even say I seem happier. I'd advise anyone even just wanting to try something new to come to as class. You'll be addicted.
